New Shipping Containers
New shipping containers are shipped over from China with one load in them before being sold in the UK. They are often referred to as ex-factory or one way shippers. Manufactured out of high tensile, rust inhibiting corten steel, they have a long life span and are ideal for shipping or storage use where they are likely to be seen by clients. They come in a variety of sizes with the most popular being 20ft containers or 40ft containers. The standard height is 8’6″ (2.59m) but high cube versions are available with a height of 9’6″ (2.9m).
Second Hand or Used Shipping Containers
Previous use of a shipping container will, of course, determine its condition. CS Shipping Containers guarantee that the containers we sell will be in wind and watertight condition and structurally sound. Shipping Containers do not have a lockbox or high security padlock fitted as standard but if you are thinking about using the container for storage we would recommend them. We are also able to offer our customers advice on condensation solutions for the storage of goods such as paper or furniture.
Shipping Container Delivery and Collection
Our containers can be delivered to you at your convenience with or without a crane assisted vehicle or, if preferred, can be collected from our nearest depot. Our trained staff will be happy to discuss any access or technical questions you might have.
